A Comprehensive Review of KatsuBet Casino
We wanted to try out a new Casino and Katsubet was one which we’d heard a bit about. Surprisingly, not the easiest to find when doing a basic google search for a casino but found it quickly enough further along in the results.
Could be because it’s actually the original Mars Casino, renamed. Newly named or “new casino”?… Something has to have changed, right? So we went ahead and checked it out.
How Many Games Do they Have?
Katsubet has a huge range of available games from a total of 57 providers so it wasn’t hard to find something we liked or were familiar with straight away.
Most of the standard games we all know and like were there and nothing that appeared to be ‘dodgy’.
Signing Up
Signing up was easy enough with only email and password needed.
Then from the link in the email, we were sent straight into our logged in account, ready to play.
The depositing methods don’t include cryptocurrency but the usual options of VISA, Mastercard, Neosurf & Ecopayz are there.

Katsubet Deposit Options
Min deposit $20 AUD – max deposit $100AUD
Playing the Slots
100% BONUS – max cashout after playthrough is unlimited which is good but the max bet once our $50 was used up (always is used up first) during wagering is only $1.60 AUD and possibly one of the lowest we’ve come across.
Realised this quickly as “INSUFFICIENT FUNDS” came up when we tried to bet any amount over $1.60. And with a $104.00 balance at that time, we went straight to T’s & C’s.
It confirmed that this is the max bet allowed when playing using the welcome bonus money BUT a max bet amount of $9 is allowed after the welcome pack is finished.
On the Plus Side
We were very happy to see that the playthrough is 45X Bonus amount only for this welcome offer as some casinos are asking for 45X the BONUS + DEPOSIT!!
Which, is hard enough at times to get through at all, let alone ending up with any winnings still in your account.
So with $100 balance we played across a few popular & new games for about an hour and had a couple of nice wins but unfortunately, no big winning features.
On the Downside
Had a few delays switching between games and a few frozen spins which needed to be refreshed which made overall gameplay slow and at times, a little frustrating.
And then with the max bet going so low once our $50 was exhausted (which as we all know, doesn’t take long), we ended up with no big wins this time.
One thing we like which we’ve seen at ‘Greenspins Casino’ and a couple of others now is where on the desktop version you can play up to 4 games at once on your screen. Played two for a little bit and that was enough for us this time but, it is still an interesting feature.
Went into the account section and activated the 100 FREE SPINS which were on Wolf Treasure.
All 100 spins can be played at once instead of spreading out over 5 days like some other casino’s, which was good.
Wagering on the free spin winnings is 50X and the max cashout is $100 AUD.
Our Winnings
Winning a total of $18.60, and seeing that Wolf Treasure was in a “decent mood”, we stayed and upped the bet just a little to see if the luck continued.
With only one decent win, it all went downhill from there, unfortunately.
Katsubet Review Conclusion
So overall, Katsubet / the”new” Mars Casino, does definitely have all the “BIG SHOW’ style and look with its huge selection of games and providers, latest software with multi-screen gameplay options and a decent welcome bonus package for the first 4 deposits, but unfortunately, with its delays/stagnant gameplay and bonus terms and conditions being a little stricter than some, we might give Katsubet a little time and come back in a month and try again.
