A Las Vegas casino is offering people the chance to stay in their hotel-casino for the entirety of the 2021 summer. Moreover, it promises to pay money and include meals for all those who opt to join the program.
This enticing proposition is probably the dream of all casino enthusiasts out there. However, it will only become the reality of undergraduate interns who enrol in Station Casinos 2021 Summer Internship Program.
Three-Month Housing and Stipend Included
The great thing about the program, scheduled to last for three months, is that all interns who sign up will get a stipend of US$7,200. All participants in the 2021 Summer Internship Program will receive US$1,200 every other week.
What is even better is that the interns taking part in the program will also have housing provided for them. And they won’t just stay in any Las Vegas flat or apartment.
Instead, they will get housing at Red Rock Casino or at other luxurious hotel-casinos that people pay money to stay and play in such as Palace Station, Green Valley Ranch, and Sunset Station.
Work on the Casino Floor
However, interns will not get everything on a plate and will have to work at least a little to justify that stipend and dream housing.
They will receive individual instructions and will work on the casino floor helping existing staff. Interns will also attend meetings and will have to make and deliver an end-of-internship presentation to the executive committee of the program.
That should give interns hands-on experience according to Station Casinos and should make them well-versed when it comes to the inner workings of a casino, as well as give them the necessary know-how regarding the hospitality industry in general.
Unfortunately, to sign up for the internship, you have to meet criteria that most enthusiastic gamblers who are not at university cannot fulfil. If you want to qualify for the 2021 Summer Internship Program, you have to be a college student and be 21 years or older.
